Gunter Pauli
Alex Steffen, 25 Feb 04

I'd forgotten about sustainability pioneer Gunter Pauli until reminded by Roel Groeneveld, who has a sharp post on Pauli's efforts with ZERI to create a model for a zero-emissions, zero-waste industrial sector.

It's the widening gap between what's conceivable and what we're doing that's sometimes discouraging. It's the narrowing gap between what's conceivable and what's possible that's sometimes electrifying.

The nice thing is that Pauli and ZERI are actually doing what is possible nowadays. Now the rest of the world just needs to follow. ;-)

(Shameless plug: my post you mention can actually be found here: http://www.roelgroeneveld.com/2004/02/24/zero-emissions )

I thoroughly enjoyed reading Mr. Pauli's book "Upsizing" and am dying to find more of his works. I am also interested in finding information about his lecture schedule. Anyone know a good resource for me to find this information?
