Ashoka has announced the winners of their Changemakers Innovation Awards, and they're a very worldchanging bunch of projects: The Taiwanese Anti-Child Prostitution Campaign; the Indian School to School program (designed to build partnerships between wealthy urban schools and poor rural schools); the Polish Mazury Station ecotourism project; a program to empower migrants and harness remittances in the Philippines; and my favorite, the South African Second Hand Tools Project which aims to literally puts tools in the hands of the jobless.
