If I had a budget for international travel right now I'd be making plans to attend Eternally Yours, a 24-hour conference on long-term thinking, sustainability and design in Eindhoven, the Netherlands on the 16th and 17th of October.

They've got a rockstar lineup: talks by not only the elite of the Dutch sustainable design crowd but Bruce Sterling, the Doors of Perception crowd, Alex Rose from Long Now, Fumi Masuda, Ann Thorpe, Thierry Kazazian and Michael McCoy; art installations and performances by Brian Eno, TamTam Objekten Theater, Michael Landy and others; and a whole array of interesting happenings and demonstrations.

For a design groupie like me, this'd be like a trip to Disneyland. Next year. Meantime, I'll be checking out the Bioneers Conference here in the Bay Area that weekend.
