Sustainable Biotechnology?

Earlier we wrote about the controversy over what is and isn't a sustainable use of biotechnology. Worldchanging reader Rachel writes in to recommend these reports on sustainability and industrial biotechnology from the OECD (PDF) and the Biotechnology Industy Organization, noting that while they're both clearly biased reports, they're also a pretty fair snapshot of what folks are working on and what might be done. Take with a hunk of salt, certainly, but worth a look.
