Yangtze Riverscapes

With Jamais' recent China Update on my mind, I happened to click into these photographs of the Yangtze River valley by Steven Bensen, taken in the months immediately preceeding the final flooding. Each one is a little set piece: modernity meets the ancient and sublime, for good or ill.
