The economics have ALWAYS been fine for green building. With one exception Neal fails to mention. In our wonderful system neither the BUILDER nor the OWNER nor the BANK typically pays the utility bills. This is the problem. I guess when we reach the 1000% return they mention, maybe our system will slowly allow some change.
