"Everyday Environmentalism"

Jamais blogged earlier today on Ford's new hybrids. Check out Ford's advertorial campaign in support of their rollout.

There's a tipping point approaching with this stuff, where -- whatever one thinks of the extent of Ford's (or BP's) bright green convictions -- simply by repeating that we can and should have green cars, homes, factories and fuel cells, big companies are hastening the day where saying otherwise will be simply unacceptable.

Indeed: It's a big win in the war against fossil fuel industry F.U.D. when you can point at companies like Ford and BP that have chosen not to drink the Kool-Aid.

It is good to see that there are companies out there that are taking the lead in environmental issues. I seriously doubt that either political party could take charge the way many companies have.
