Green Home Guide

It's getting to where you need a guide to the guidebooks.

Information abounds for green building, energy, design, electronics, fashion, furniture and household goods. One could easily go on listing sites purporting to give you the skinny on some aspect of bright green living. Most are terrible. Many are boring. Quite a few overlap in their contents. Do we really need another?

Maybe yes, maybe no. Certainly we need a good, centralized, opinionated, hip and expert site for evaluating the wide range of green options available to us as consumers and professionals.

Green Home Guide isn't it. Instead, it aims to offer homeowners (in Northern California, specifically, though much of the information is useful wherever you live) a "resource for beautiful, safe and local remodeling." If you're planning a remodel, and want to do it green, this'd be a fine place to start.

Meanwhile, someone really needs to start the definitive bright green lifestyle resource! Seriously folks, it's time.
