Green Money Journal has a special Fall issue out (and up online) on Socially Responsible Investing (SRI). Good stuff.
I haven't finished going through it yet, but there's a lot of interest here: how to choose an SRI financial advisor; a profile of the Institute for Community Economics, which operates the oldest revolving loan fund in the country; a look at new guidelines from the UK Secretary for Trade and Industry which will mandate that British businesses report on the social and environmental effects of their operations; even a run-down of Sustainable Business' top twenty sustainable stocks.
It takes money to do most things. These are the folks who are trying to see that the money's there to do the right things. They're worth paying attention to.
