"Sell-side" Advertising

Futurismic turned me on to Robin Good's excellent summary of the debate around bottom-up or "sell-side" advertising and the effect it may have on online publishing.

I'm still not sure whether I like the taste of the kool-aid on this one, but a bunch of smart people are convinced this is a paradigm-thrashing development, so if you care about this stuff, take a look and make up your own mind.
