
Disaster relief is a booming business. Thankfully, worldchangers are rising to the challenge of aiding the growing millions of people each year who find themselves the victims of climate change disasters or mass violence -- by providing better humanitarian logistics, improving disaster medicine and designing the next refugee camp.
Here's another tool for the chest: Global MapAid, a new NGO which aims to provide high-quality GIS mapping information for rapid-reaction disaster response teams. Still a start-up, but it's a great idea.
