The Indian Environment 20 Years After Bhopal

The recent 20th anniversary of the Bhopal chemical disaster has shown a new spotlight on the environmental costs of the Indian tech boom which is driving an exposion in urban industry and changing the nature of rural life,

Now InfoChange India's Agenda magazine is devoting an entire issue to understanding what the Bhopal disaster has to teach us about environmental problems in India. Some of it is difficult and tragic reading, but it is by far the best source of information on the subject I've ever seen, and a critical resource for those seeking a whole, balanced picture of the country India is becoming.
