The NGO Itgel works to protect Mongolia's environmental and cultural heritage, and they have two cool projects: helping the Tsaatan people -- one of the last nomadic reindeer-herding groups in the world -- to avoid cultural collapse by reinvigorating their inbred herds through artificial insemination; and the creation of a music school in the Gobi desert where students can study the traditional Long Song art form.
Small good things.
