ESP Design.org has recently recast the ESP as meaning "Entirely Sustainable Product design" instead of the original "Environmentally Sustainable Product design", after restructuring their content to be more triple-bottom-line instead of single-mindedly environmental. This normally wouldn't be significant, but there are many who've never heard of the organization and should be introduced to it.
ESPdesign.org is a great introduction to green for product designers. Need to tell your manager what FSC is, or how European Energy Label grades work, in a nutshell? Want to know where to find regulations covering your product sector? Want a diagram of how financially sustainable businesses are different from unsustainable ones? Want a list of forty strategies for sustainable design, labeled by their environmental/financial/social strengths? ESPdesign.org is a good place to start.
