Worldchanging Architects: There's still some time left to enter the American Institute of Architects Show You're Green competition, part of a new AIA initiative to showcase excellence in and committment to green strategies in design. The criteria for submissions (due April 22, naturally) are laid out in the AIA's Top Ten Criteria for Affordable Green Housing. Some of the factors the AIA is looking for: regional, geographic, cultural context; inclusion of low- and middle-income housing; water conservation; energy management; recycling during occupancy and beyond. Selected projects will be showcased in the Affordable Housing Design Advisor.
