Global warming, not poaching, will decrease animal populations

In a recent seminar in Stony Brook, New York Dr Richard Leakey, famed paleoanthropologist and former director of Kenya's wildlife service, announced that climate change posed a bigger threat to elephants, tigers and rhinos than poaching. This is yet another example of how changing weather patterns will cause irreversible harm in the future... Have we reached natures downward spiral?
