Tuesday night, TED announced the winners of this year's TED Prizes. They're a completely worldchanging lot:
* our own Cameron Sinclair (acknowledging his great work with Architecture for Humanity);
* Larry Brilliant, the doctor who helped eradicate smallpox, cured millions of cases of blindness through the Seva Foundation, and who is now trying to raise public awareness of the dangers posed by bird flu; and
* Jehane Noujaim, whose film Control Room would be on my short list of best documentaries, and who is now exploring ways to facilitate the work of filmmakers in communities across the developing world whose voices we rarely hear.
Congratulations, Prize-winners, and keep up the good work!
