How do we meet the enormous health challenges we face, globally? That's the question the new PBS series RX For Survival attempts to answer. Starting in early November, the show will expose American audiences to the latest public health models, tools for fighting superbugs, ideas for delivering medical care to the billions who now lack it, approaches to fighting mosquitos and other disease vectors, and possibilities for feeding the hungry and dealing with massive problems like HIV/AIDS. Looks well worth the time, and the series website, while basic, is itself a pretty decent starting place for learning more.
