Most of my current focus is on my web consulting company and our various projects. I’m also devoting a lot of time to the Digital Convergence Initiative for the Texas Technology Corridor and a handful of other projects, including EFF-Austin, Austin Wireless, and a Future Salon for Austin. It’s all very Texas-centric at the moment; I guess I’m acting locally, though I still think globally when I have time to think at all! I spent much of 2005 working to make Internet/web technology work as a platform for meaningful collaboration and civic engagement, with some degree of success, especially through my work here at WorldChanging, and through the publication of Extreme Democracy. This year I expect to do a lot more writing and blogging, maybe some podcasting... and I expect to spend a lot more time reading and listening and looking for solutions.
