Only a few days are left before the conference on Local Solutions to the Energy Dilemma -- cosponsored by PeakOilNYC and Local Energy Solutions LLC -- kicks off in NYC on April 27. Over 30 presenters from the arenas of agriculture, economics, politics, sustainability and more will fill the three-day schedule, including author James Kunstler, researcher David Pimentel, and journalist/blogger/city livability activist Aaron Naparstek. Some last-minute sponsorship has allowed the presenters to lower the registration fees (retroactively, even).
