You may remember that last year, Worldchanging was one of five nominees for a Webby for best blog
Well, this year, Worldchanging contributor Régine Debatty has been nominated in the "Blog - Cultural/Personal" category for her main site We Make Money Not Art. Regine does amazing work, exploring the fringes of art and design and presenting her findings in consistently excellent posts, both here and there. She's been characteristically modest about being a nominee, but she deserves your support.
Please go vote for her.
Congrats as well to all the other nominees! If you're wondering we else we'd recommend voting for, in the magazine category, our allies at both MakeZine and Grist have been nominated. In activism, the Global Fund to fight AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria is a good vote. Worldchanging ally Spencer Wells' Genographic Project is our nominee of choice in the science catagory. In podcasts, the Committee on Conscience's genocide prevention site deserves your click, while in charitable organizations, the venerable NRDC is support-worthy. In the student category, the Organic City got my vote, while for education, we've long been fans of NASA's Earth Observatory.
