Most of the global news this week has been really depressing. Violent acts of agression have seemed to have become the norm in much of what we read or hear. However in the war-torn country of Congo a new weapons exchange program has made an impact in the lives of rural villagers. The guns for bikes program has now become so popular that is has begun to expand to give out zinc roofing. Could the next reiteration be guns for solar panels? or freeplay radios?
