Worldchanging Ally (and neighbor) Matt Steuerwalt has been all over the media recently in his capacity as Energy Policy Advisor to Washington Governor Christine Gregoire, discussing wind power on Science Friday, biofuels (MP3) on the public radio program Weekday [full disclosure: I used to produce that show], and building a local biodiesel industry with the Associated Press:

"We're trying to build a whole industry in this state, from growing to crushing to refining to using," said Matt Steuerwalt, energy aide to Gov. Christine Gregoire.

As Washington State leads the US in certain aspects of the transition to clean energy, it's worth paying attention to Matt's ideas.
