12 Steps to Sustainability


For those of you who were wondering whether sustainability could hold its own amongst the MTV set, consider your doubts allayed. MTV has launched Break the Addiction, a "12-month action plan for fighting global warming and the effects of overconsumption in your environment and your world."

Over the course of a year, the program offers a monthly tip for reflecting on your personal habits and finding ways to change them. The steps include things like being a conscious consumer, calculating personal carbon consumption and designing your space in an eco-friendly way. They must be on to something...
