Brandon Keim understands the role science has to play in creating a bright green future. Brandon used to be communications director of the Council for Responsible Genetics, where he edited the journal GeneWatch, and most recently graduated from Columbia Journalism School's M.A. science and health writing program. He understands both the power and wonder of science on the one hand, and on the other the necessity for transparency and public participation in setting science policy.
Brandon will be bringing us news from the cutting edge of scientific discovery, telling us not only what's happening in the increasingly interrelated fields of the bio- and nano-technology, but also pointing out other flashes of science news worth understanding as we look to create a more sustainable world. Welcome, Brandon!
Brandon's first Worldchanging posts are Moving Beyond Rip-Mix-n-Burn Genetic Engineering and Chemical Sustainability.
