Geoff Manaugh writes more brilliantly about space, place and landscape than almost anyone else I can think of: certainly as a blogger on these issues he is without challenge. His personal site, BLDGBLOG remains one of my favorite sites, and Geoff has a real embrace of the urgency, weirdness and possibility involved in living in an age of profound, unparalleled landscape change.

Thinking clearly about the future, and imagining it well, are critical tools for building it better. Geoff will be helping us see the present in new ways by pointing ahead to the horizon.
