As we mentioned yesterday, Architecture for Humanity has been making tangible leaps towards reconstruction on the Gulf Coast. They have also just announced the completion of a building in India -- their tenth to be completed and occupied in South Asia, where they've been working to rebuild since the 2004 tsunami, thanks in part to relief funds raised in partnership with Worldchanging.
Most of the buildings AFH has completed in Sri Lanka and India have been schools and community centers. Forthcoming include a women's cooperative bakery and One Foundation: Many Homes. We're thrilled to see how far this work has come from the seed donations of so many readers a few years ago.
