Rails to Trails Conservancy Transforms Old Rail Lines into Routes for Walking

An organization led by Keith Laughlin, who helped guide environmental programs in the Clinton White House, works with communities to build hiking and biking trails out of former rail lines. One of Keith’s goals is safe routes for children to walk or bike to and from school.
