Neighborhood-scale sharing services

The following video describes NeighborGoods, a shared goods company started by Worldchanging correspondent Micki Krimmel. While this video is an advertisement, and we always approach these sorts of conflicts with care, we thought this description of an actual operating shared goods process is interesting enough to blog about here. We want to be clear that, though we think Micki's great, this is not an endorsement of NeighborGoods per se, and you should use your own judgment about what services and companies to be involved with:
