I hoped that would also apply in Germany, but it never did. The only chance to sell used mobile telephones was, is and always will be ebay. Sad enough :(

This is a fantastic idea and it's the first time I've actually read what is actually being done with the phones. I support this action wholeheartedly.

A cash incentive for recycling phones is great. I feel like if this had better marketing it could really catch on and create a difference. How can we get people to know about this? Puyallup Used Cars

I have "recycled" several mobiles through these schemes. I do wonder though if it encourages consumption as part of the guilt of throwing a mobile is taken away.
