
Brandon Keim (email / website) is a freelance science and culture writer. Born and raised in Bangor, Maine, he now lives in Brooklyn, New York, where he's perpetually amazed at the ability of nature to thrive in unexpected places.
A graduate of the Columbia Journalism School's M.A. science and health writing program, Brandon was previously communications director of the Council for Responsible Genetics, where he edited the journal GeneWatch. Interested in all those spaces where science, technology, culture and society mix together and affect the way people live, Brandon's work has appeared in Adbusters, Wired News, the Christian Science Monitor, USA Today and Psychology Today.
