Born on the West Coast in Eugene Oregon. Moved to the Midwest while young (5 yrs) and grew up in Minneapolis area. Got out of high school early to go to a community college thru post secondary options program which completely saved my interest in education -- went to school in Boston at Northeastern for a year, and solidified my interest in communications while Studying Abroad in London at Regents College, graduating with a communications and marketing degree.
My graduation project was a documentary film I worked on with a professor called "Inheriting the Holocaust," which got national PBS air time, from then on, I've been sold on making things and showing them to people.
After the documentary wrapped I immediately moved back to the Northwest where I've stayed for the last 10 years.
Some adventures since include; driving a bus and guiding Green Tortoise adventure travel trips through the US and Mexico, stage managing extreme theater marathons of 14 plays in 48 hours, managing the opening of the mammoth Consolidated Works contemporary arts center, working on independent films and videos, producing web sites and games, working as a Co-executive director of Home Alive, which supports and creates individual self defense programs that service survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, to volunteering and organizing fundraisers for local food banks and public schools.
Before coming to WC as a full time staffer, I worked for the last few years in creative agencies as a program manager for web site and integrated interactive projects. I am very excited and honored to be working with the incredible and unstoppable WorldChanging community.
