
A born and raised New Yorker, Tessa has a dual BA from Oberlin College, in Art History and Gender and Women's Studies. She did research in Thailand in 2004 and 2005 on the intersection of gender and nationalist identities, worked to craft literature for women's health advocacy groups in Lorain County, Ohio, and most recently worked as the Program Director at Windsor Mountain International developing experiential education-based curriculum. In her role at Worldchanging, Tessa has spearheaded program initiatives including the 2006 North American Book Tour, and the 2007 Worldchanging Conference.
