Uleshka is always on the lookout for inspiring people who have something to say. Mainly operating in the design world, she wants to get the word out about sustainable design projects and meaningful designs that have a long lasting, deep and positive impact on people and the planet.
After experimenting as VJ-DJ-unit "Jin" (her VJ installations made it all the way to the permanent collection of the Pompidou Centre in Paris) Uleshka set up and chief edited PingMag.jp for its active years. With this bilingual (Japanese/English) blog, she created a now often copied format for an online design magazine which is cross-disciplinary and has inspiration as a main goal. Uleshka then moved on to write design books for Gestalten.com and has been involved in the Pecha Kucha Night movement from the very start (Uleshka also wrote the Book "Pecha Kucha Night - A Celebration" and hosted the "Pecha Kucha Global Day for Haiti" in Berlin February 2010).
After 8 years in Tokyo she moved to Berlin with her family, from where she is currently involved in a tea-house-project in Kyoto, PR for the maker-community & open source software - and PeaceSweater.com, her self-produced line of sustainable sweat-shirts.
