Shades Of Green Radio Show on KOOP

Shades Of Green is a radio show on KOOP (91.7 FM) that "focuses each week on a range of subjects including renewable energy, permaculture, natural building, and central Texas' continuing enthusiasm for health-oriented lifestyle choices."

This Thursday 2/8 at 1 PM, the show feature will be:

What do 'radically Green' styles of sustainable living look like in Austin, Texas these days? Studio guests include organic gardener Selwyn Polit, who raises chickens IN the city - and Scott Kellogg, co-founder of the educational "Rhizome Collective." This industrious non-profit organizes a yearly Spring seminar on survival skills for the urban ecology, and now they're turning once-polluted Colorado river frontage into an environmental Education Park in East Austin.

You can tune in at 91.7 FM or at http://www.koop.org/
