Worldchanging Austin - Local Open Gathering Mar 31 (bi-weekly)

Worldchanging Austin - Local Open Gathering

Cafe Caffeine - 909 W Mary St - Austin - 78704
12-3pm, Saturday, March 31, 2007.

WorldChanging Austin welcomes locals who are interested in worldchanging tools and ideas to gather for our next bi-weekly Local Open Gathering at Cafe Caffeine.

“WorldChanging works from a simple premise: that the tools, models and ideas for building a better future lie all around us. That plenty of people are working on tools for change, but the fields in which they work remain unconnected. That the motive, means and opportunity for profound positive change are already present. That another world is not just possible, it's here. We only need to put the pieces together.”

This gathering will be open and informal, meant simply to bring local worldchangers together, to meet and share resources. Local WorldChanging contact Heath Rezabek will be on hand from 12-3pm. He’ll share some of the tools that have influenced him; you and your friends can share some as well. From there? Let’s find out!

We plan to do this every two weeks; other activities and ideas can be brought about from there by motivated local WorldChanging readers.

This event is also listed on upcoming.org, but you don't have to sign up to show up.

Comments

The 'post a comment' comment has a typo ;)

'not' should say 'note' ... sorry I hope that is not classified as a linguistic insult? ;)
