Austin Energy is hosting its second annual Energy Efficiency Charrette on May 10th from 4:00-8:30 PM at the Austin Bergstrom Learning and Resource Center.
A charrette is a term of art from the architecture community to describe a meeting where multiple designers/stakeholders break into subgroups to design solutions to pressing problems. Each sub-group then presents its solution for critique and refinement from the full group. In our first charrette last year many interesting and novel solutions were proposed. Many of them were acted on by Austin Energy's staff.
Please bring your thinking caps and join us in designing Austin's energy efficient future.
