Starting this month, folks in North Central Austin can enjoy two exciting new developments in sustainable living. Austin CarShare has expanded its program to include a car stationed in Hyde Park, and the Sustainable Food Center has opened its new Wednesday market in the burgeoning Triangle (map).

A Scion xA is stationed at the new Hyde Park CarShare parking location outside Fresh Plus at 43rd and Avenue H (map). The vehicle is parked in the southwest corner of the Fresh Plus lot in a designated Austin CarShare reserved space.

The Wednesday Farmer's Market is located at 46th Street and Triangle Avenue (which is an intersection inside the Triangle) - 46th can be accessed from either Lamar or Guadalupe and Triangle Avenue is accessible from 45th Street. The market runs from 4pm to 8pm.

The Sustainable Food Center and Austin CarShare partner on a referral program. Austin CarShare shares with SFC a portion of new membership fees from members who are referred through SFC programs or its web site.
