


William Wurtz -- better known as Bud -- is currently director of Business and Community Services with the Institute for Applied Creativity at Texas A&M University. In this role, he helps organizations prepare for the challenges of the Creative Knowledge Economy by developing the firms' capabilities to innovate more effectively and by coaching individual executives and professionals think more creatively.
Bud has long been a leader in promoting a creative society. He is a past national president and current member of the American Creativity Association's executive committee. Bud has also held numerous volunteer leadership positions with professional associations in the organizational learning field, as well as with social justice groups.
He is a Ph.D. candidate in Educational Psychology program at Texas A&M University, specializing in its creativity, intelligence and learning program.
