Simon Smith talks about changing how we consume and refers to this new model as 'transumerism' or 'collaborative consumption' which he says focusses on "sharing, renting and experiencing over owning." This is not exactly revolutionary thinking and these ideas existed long before Smith wrote this most recent article, but it is interesting to consider just the same.
