Jordy Gold is a columnist and provides sustainability and strategy consulting services to a range of organizations.
During his undergraduate degree Jordy spent a year researching climate change, food production and urbanization issues in Bangkok and in small-scale fishing villages throughout the south of Thailand.
After a trade and sustainability internship in Geneva through the International Institute for Sustainable Development, Jordy became Director of Business Development at Corporate Knights, Canada's magazine for responsible business. Through the publication Jordy helped launch the Global 100 (Global100.org) at the World Economic Forum and created his own interview series speaking to people like Jane Goodall and Robert Kennedy Jr. about the future of the planet and the economy.
In 2006, Jordy was part of the core team that ran the almost victorious by-election campaign for Elizabeth May, the leader of the Green Party of Canada.
Jordy holds a Master's degree in environmental management and policy from the IIIEE, Lund University in Sweden and an honours bachelor's degree in politics and development studies from Queen's University.
