Simon Donner

Simon Donner is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Geography at the University of British Columbia in beautiful, damp Vancouver. He came to UBC after a few years in the Science, Technology and Environment Program in the Woodrow Wilson School for Public and International Affairs at Princeton University. Growing up in the wonderful city of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, where even in the dead of winter, he was often packed tight in a baby carriage and left outside to sleep, a reflection of either Canadian culture or some laissez-faire parenting. Since then, he has been interested in climate and the outdoors.
