Get up and get going: Today's the National Day of Climate Action. As of this morning, Step It Up reports that 1377 demonstrations are planned in 50 states to demand that Congress enact plans to cut our carbon emissions 80 percent by 2050 -- including the Sea of People, beginning at 12 noon in the Battery in New York City. This is the first major day of protest on climate disruption in the U.S. -- be a part of it and help transform the U.S. from one of the world's leading greenhouse gas polluters to one of its most innovative, forward-thinking climate protectors.
