Energy Trust of Oregon is offering rebates and incentives for purchasing energy efficient appliances. You can also reduce your Oregon income tax by taking advantage of the Oregon Energy Tax Credits for purchases of energy efficient products. Federal tax credits are available for improvements to your home, such as insulation, doors, windows, fans, and heating/cooling systems. Hybrid cars and solar panels also qualify.

We (the Energy Trust) also give incentives for insulation/heating systems/windows and air sealing. Our incentive for air sealing, combined with the tax credits makes this home improvement virtually free- and it is highly recommended for any home built before 1985.
