PDX Peace has organized a gathering today at noon in Portland's South Park Blocks to comemorate and speak out about the 4th anniversary of the invasion of Iraq. The event will include guest speakers, music, and training on citizen activism and will wrap up with a march through downtown. The event starts at noon with an "Action Camp" where
"people of all ages can Act for Peace by learning how to lobby effectively, create art and signs, learn about nonviolent civil disobedience, and experience youth spoken word and theatre."
The Action Camp starts at noon; the rally and march starts at 1:30 and ends at 2:15.
A Youth Stage has been organized, with the theme: "If this is our future, then we want a voice'.
See you there.
