Flashback: Park(ing) Day 2009


Talk about a hit and run.

This year's Park(ing) Day was quite literally a hit. Jam packed with creative minds attempting to challenge the meme that streets are for cars, the event featured multiple curbside parks, popping up throughout the city, paving the way for a day filled with surprises.

From yoga lessons to street side bowling alleys and chess sets and delicious treats galore, children and adults alike ran wild with excitement through these temporary parks dotting the streetscape.
