Worldchanging in the New York Times and on NPR

We've been getting a lot of terrific press attention lately, from Open Source to GOOD Magazine, Leonard Lopate to the New York Review of Books, as well as Wired, the Guardian, the San Francisco Chronicle, the Globe and Mail and the Village Voice. Indeed, in the last three months, we've had over a hundred reviews. But just in the last week or so, we've been reviewed first on NPR (on the Living on Earth show, which you can listen to here) and now in the New York Times book review. Of...

Stefan Sagmeister on Designing the Worldchanging Book

One of the things I most enjoyed about editing Worldchanging: A User's Guide for the 21st Century was working with designer Stefan Sagmeister. Stefan has a really wonderful ability to both bring strongly-felt design vision to a project and yet remain humble and playful enough to be a terrific person with whom to collaborate. To get a sense of the kind of mind the man possesses, check out this interview exploring the thinking behind his design for Worldchanging: There is one kind of design-y...

Not only will there be a great crowd of people and an inspiring presentation about emerging innovations for sustainability, but the Shedd has been generous enough to open up their world-class facilities for us after hours. This is a rare opportunity to check out the aquarium while networking with the Chicago sustainability community and finding out more about our new book. Please...

Worldchanging Tour: Denver

We're ending the tour with a Rocky Mountain high in Colorado. We'll be holding a reading and reception at the legendary independent bookstore, Tattered Cover, on December 14 at their Lower Downtown location. In addition to that, we'll be spending a couple of extra days around Denver (hometown of our Managing Editor, Sarah Rich) and Boulder. Please do come to the main event, and we may organize an informal gathering at a bar during one of our other evenings. Stay tuned.
